Christian Living/Values Education in Grade 10 culminates the Christian Living curriculum through an in-depth study of Catholic Social Teaching and its application to contemporary social realities. Filipino

Ang asignaturang Filipino sa Ikasampung Baitang ay nakatuon sa paglinang ng kasanayang komunikatibo, pagkamalikhain, at kritikal na pag-iisip sa pamamagitan ng masusing pagsusuri ng panitikan at iba’t ibang uri ng teksto. Layunin nitong ihanda ang mga mag-aaral na maging responsableng mamamayan na may matibay na pagpapahalaga sa wika, kultura, at lipunang Pilipino.

Sa pamamagitan ng pag-aaral ng El Filibusterismo, mga akdang pampanitikan mula sa Panahon ng Kontemporaneo o Makabagong Panahon, at mga tekstong impormasyonal, akademik, at biswal, napauunlad ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang kakayahang magsuri, magpakahulugan, at makabuo ng makabuluhang tekstong multimodal. Iniuugnay nila ang kanilang mga natutuhan sa mga usaping panlipunan sa lokal at pandaigdigang konteksto.

Sa pagtatapos ng kurso, nahuhubog ang mga mag-aaral na mapanuri, malikhain, makabayan, at may pananagutang panlipunan. Nalilinang din ang kanilang kakayahang gamitin ang wikang Filipino bilang kasangkapan sa pakikilahok sa pambansang pag-unlad at pandaigdigang pakikipag-ugnayan.
