GRADE SCHOOL (Grades 1-6)
The LSGH Grade School curriculum builds the foundation for a life of faith, service and communion , empowering students to LEAD with excellence and purpose. Rooted in the Lasallian tradition and inspired by the Gospel, it seeks to holistically nurture the child by developing intellectual curiosity, moral integrity, emotional well-being, creativity, and a growing sense of responsibility toward others. These formative years are dedicated to helping learners discover their gifts, build confidence in their abilities, and develop habits of mind and heart that will guide them throughout their educational journey.
Learning is purposeful, engaging, and connected to life. The Grade School curriculum is fully aligned with the revised K–10 Curriculum of the Department of Education, ensuring that prescribed learning standards and expected learning outcomes are systematically addressed across all subject areas. As a Level III PAASCU-accredited institution, La Salle Green Hills further enriches these standards through a Lasallian curriculum that emphasizes authentic learning, inquiry, reflection, leadership formation, and service. This commitment to academic quality is reflected in the school’s curriculum maps, learning guides, assessment practices, and learning progression charts, which ensure coherent, developmentally appropriate, and future-responsive learning experiences. Through inquiry, collaboration, creativity, and meaningful engagement with real-world situations, learners are encouraged to make connections across disciplines and apply their learning in purposeful ways.
As learners progress through the elementary years, they strengthen their foundations in literacy, numeracy, scientific inquiry, communication, the arts, and responsible citizenship. More importantly, they grow in the Spirit of Faith, Zeal for Service, and Communion in Mission by learning to live their faith in daily choices, show compassion toward others, care for creation, and contribute positively to their communities. By the end of Grade 6, learners are prepared not only for the academic demands of Junior High School but also for a lifelong journey of learning, leadership, and service to God and society.
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL (7-10)
The LSGH JHS deepens learners’ academic understanding, leadership formation, and commitment to service as they prepare for Senior High School and the challenges of an increasingly interconnected world. Rooted in the Lasallian tradition and guided by the values of faith, zeal, and communion, the curriculum develops learners who think critically, act ethically, and lead purposefully. Through holistic and future-ready education, learners are challenged to examine complex realities, engage contemporary issues, and respond thoughtfully to the needs of society.
Learning experiences are designed to engage learners in inquiry, critical reflection, collaboration, innovation, and authentic problem-solving. The Junior High School curriculum is fully aligned with the revised K–10 Curriculum of the Department of Education, ensuring mastery of prescribed standards while providing opportunities for deeper learning and intellectual growth. As a Level III PAASCU-accredited institution, LSGH enriches the national curriculum through a rigorous Lasallian educational program that integrates faith, excellence, service, leadership, and social responsibility across disciplines. Curriculum maps, learning guides, assessment practices, and learning progression charts ensure that learning experiences remain coherent, challenging, and developmentally appropriate. Guided by competent teachers who mentor them in their growth, learners investigate complex issues, evaluate diverse perspectives, conduct research, and apply their learning to meaningful and socially relevant contexts..
As learners advance through Junior High School, they become increasingly independent, reflective, and socially responsible. They develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed for academic success, lifelong learning, and responsible citizenship. More importantly, they learn to exercise leadership through service, uphold justice and human dignity, care for creation, and collaborate with others in building a more humane, just, and compassionate society. By the end of Grade 10, learners are prepared not only for the next stage of their educational journey but also for their continuing mission as young Lasallian leaders committed to transformation and service.
