Earth and Environmental Science develops learners’ understanding of the dynamic processes that shape the Earth and influence life on the planet. Filipino

Ang asignaturang Filipino sa Ikapitong Baitang ay nakatuon sa pagpapaunlad ng kasanayang komunikatibo at sa masusing pag-unawa at pagsusuri ng mahahalagang akdang pampanitikan at iba’t ibang uri ng teksto. Layunin nitong mapalalim ang pagpapahalaga ng mga mag-aaral sa kulturang Pilipino habang hinahasa ang kanilang kakayahang mag-isip nang mapanuri at makipagtalastasan nang epektibo.

Sa pamamagitan ng pag-aaral ng Ibong Adarna, mga akdang pampanitikan mula sa iba’t ibang panahon ng kasaysayan, mga tekstong impormasyonal, akademik, at biswal, natututuhan ng mga mag-aaral ang pagsusuri, interpretasyon, at pagbuo ng makabuluhang tekstong multimodal. Iniuugnay nila ang kanilang mga natutuhan sa mga usaping pangkultura at panlipunan na may kaugnayan sa pagkakakilanlang Pilipino.

Sa pagtatapos ng kurso, nahuhubog ang mga mag-aaral na mahusay sa mapanuring pagbasa, makabuluhang pagsulat, at mabisang pakikipagtalastasan. Nalilinang din ang kanilang pagpapahalaga sa kulturang Pilipino at ang kakayahang gamitin ang wika bilang kasangkapan sa akademikong pag-unlad at personal na paghubog.
