Elevating his fencing skills to new heights, our eighth grader, Oscar Del Castillo is truly a fencer with the heart of a champion. In April, Oscar took part in two local tournaments, where he bagged three gold medals, and represented the Philippines in the Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the sole Cadet representative from the Philippines. Held at King Saud University Sports Arena, Oscar joined more than 1000 fencers from nearly 100 countries in the global event, which featured exciting individual and team events over nine days of competition.
