Ang Araling Panlipunan sa Baitang 3 ay naglalayong hubugin ang mga mag-aaral bilang aktibo, responsable, at makabayang mamamayan. Nakatuon ito sa pagpapaunlad ng pagkakakilanlan, pagkamalikhain, kalusugan, at pakikipag-ugnayan sa kapuwa habang pinauunlad ang kanilang pag-unawa sa lipunan at kulturang Filipino.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga talakayan, proyekto, pagsasaliksik, kolaboratibong gawain, at mga karanasang nakabatay sa tunay na sitwasyon, natututuhan ng mga mag-aaral ang mahahalagang konsepto mula sa Sibika, Sining at Kultura, Kasaysayan, at Kagalingang Pangkalusugan. Iniuugnay nila ang mga konseptong ito sa kanilang sariling karanasan at sa mas malawak na konteksto ng komunidad at bansa.

Sa pagtatapos ng kurso, nahuhubog ang mga mag-aaral na may kamalayang panlipunan, pagmamalaki sa kulturang Filipino, at kakayahang makipag-ugnayan nang responsable sa iba. Nalilinang din ang kanilang pagiging mapanuri, malikhain, at handang makilahok sa pag-unlad ng lipunan.

Science in Grade 3 develops learners’ understanding of the natural world through observation, investigation, and inquiry. The subject encourages learners to explore how living things, materials, energy, and environmental factors interact while strengthening their scientific thinking and curiosity.

Through experiments, guided investigations, observations, measurements, and hands-on learning experiences, learners examine the properties and uses of materials, the characteristics and needs of living things, sources of light and sound, weather patterns, and the movement of objects. They are encouraged to ask questions, gather evidence, and make informed conclusions based on their observations.

Ang asignaturang Filipino sa Baitang 3 ay nakatuon sa pagpapalawak ng kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral sa pakikinig, pagsasalita, pagbasa, at pagsulat gamit ang wikang Filipino. Layunin nitong higit pang malinang ang kanilang kakayahang umunawa, magsuri, at makapagpahayag ng mga ideya nang malinaw at makabuluhan.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagbasa ng mga tekstong naratibo at impormatibo, talakayan, malikhaing pagsulat, at iba’t ibang gawaing pangwika, napauunlad ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang bokabularyo, pag-unawa, at kasanayan sa paggamit ng wastong gramatika at diskurso. Iniuugnay rin nila ang kanilang mga natutuhan sa mga paksang may kaugnayan sa sarili, pamilya, komunidad, at bansa.
