Christian Living/GMRC
Christian Living/GMRC in Grade 1 nurtures learners’ growing relationship with God by helping them recognize Him as Creator, Father, Savior, and Teacher. Rooted in the Lasallian tradition, the subject introduces learners to God’s love and presence in their daily lives and encourages them to respond through faith and service.
Through Bible stories, prayer experiences, classroom discussions, songs, and age-appropriate faith activities, learners explore the life of Jesus, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the mission of the Church. They are guided in understanding how Christian values can be practiced in everyday situations at home, in school, and within the community.
As learners deepen their faith, they develop kindness, gratitude, obedience, compassion, and respect for others. The subject fosters a sense of belonging to God’s family and inspires learners to become responsible stewards of creation and active members of the Lasallian community.
Mathematics

Araling Panlipunan
Ang Araling Panlipunan sa Baitang 1 ay naglalayong hubugin ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga mag-aaral bilang bahagi ng pamilya, paaralan, komunidad, at kapaligiran. Tinutulungan nito ang mga mag-aaral na maunawaan ang kanilang sarili at ang mahalagang papel na ginagampanan nila sa kanilang mga ugnayan at pamayanan.
Sa pamamagitan ng mga talakayan, kuwento, pangkatang gawain, pagmamasid, at mga gawaing nakabatay sa tunay na karanasan, natututuhan ng mga mag-aaral ang tungkol sa kanilang pamilya, paaralan, komunidad, at kapaligiran. Pinag-aaralan din nila ang ugnayan ng bawat isa at ang kahalagahan ng pakikipagtulungan at pakikilahok sa lipunan.
Sa pagtatapos ng kurso, nahuhubog ang mga mag-aaral na may pagmamalasakit sa kapuwa, pagpapahalaga sa komunidad, at kamalayang panlipunan. Nalilinang din ang kanilang pagiging responsable, makabayan, at handang makibahagi sa ikabubuti ng kanilang kapaligiran.
Science

Ang asignaturang Filipino sa Baitang 1 ay nakatuon sa pagpapaunlad ng mga batayang kasanayan sa pakikinig, pagsasalita, pagbasa, at pagsulat. Layunin nitong malinang ang kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral na maunawaan at magamit ang wikang Filipino bilang kasangkapan sa komunikasyon, pagkatuto, at pagpapahayag ng sarili.
Sa pamamagitan ng mga kuwento, tula, awitin, talakayan, at iba’t ibang gawaing pangwika, natututuhan ng mga mag-aaral ang wastong pagbasa, pagsulat ng mga payak na pangungusap, at paggamit ng magagalang na pananalita sa iba’t ibang sitwasyon. Binibigyang-diin din ang pag-unawa sa mga tekstong angkop sa kanilang edad at karanasan.
Sa pagtatapos ng kurso, nahuhubog ang mga mag-aaral na mahusay makipagkomunikasyon, may pagmamahal sa sariling wika, at may tiwala sa pagpapahayag ng kanilang mga saloobin at ideya. Nalilinang din ang kanilang pagiging magalang, responsable, at mapanuring tagapakinig at mambabasa.
