The week commenced with a Mass at the Chapel of the Divine Child, followed by the mounting of the STEM Exhibits in the Grade 11 and 12 hallways. Simultaneously, the inaugural STEM Research Pitch Challenge at the Br. Donato Center (BDC) gave participating students an opportunity to present their ideas to a panel of experts.
Day two featured the official launching ceremony at the Upper Field and Track Oval, followed by the Bridge Building Competition and SCIMAPETECH, where our students got to apply their knowledge of concepts and bridge-building skills as well as understand the science behind the designs.
Other highlights of the week-long celebration include AGIMATH, an invitational Math event promoting excellence and friendly competition; and, a Masterclass Series titled “Exploring Possibilities with Data Analytics.” Led by industry expert Mr. John Robertson Despi, the session provided students with professional insights into the evolving landscape of data science.
