Calvin Uno T. Salavante (5B) and Mark Anvil B. Venterez (5A) have recently participated in the ASMOPSS (Asian Science and Mathematics Olympiad for Primary and Secondary Schools) math division preliminaries, receiving merit awards for placing in the top percentile. Organized by Surya Institute in Indonesia, ASMOPSS is a fun and friendly competition which aims to encourage students to embrace science and math from an early age and enhance the development of international contacts among primary and secondary schools in the fields of science and mathematics. Congratulations, Uno and Marky. May you continue to be an inspiration to your fellow Lasallians.
