We are happy to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our third graders Ethan Jade (3E) and Emmanuelle Jade Ocampo (3G), who successfully represented both La Salle Green Hills and the Philippines in the following global competitions:
-Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO)
-Mathematics Without Borders 2025
-Bebras Challenge
Competing in TIMO’s Final Round, Ethan earned a Bronze Award while Elle received a Merit Award. Held annually, the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad is a rigorous competition that aims to challenge young mathematicians to solve complex problems using advanced reasoning, logic, and creative thinking.
The twins continued to showcase their mathematical prowess in the Autumn Round of the Mathematics Without Borders (MWB), both bagging a Silver award. The global event emphasizes real-world problem-solving and collaborative teamwork.
Ethan and Elle capped their successful campaign by emerging as Final Round qualifiers in the Bebras Challenge, highlighting their strong foundation in computational thinking and logical analysis.
Congratulations, Ethan and Elle!
Thank you for representing our school and the country with such distinction. Animo La Salle!
