On February 12, LSGH Batch 2012 alumnus and BS Architecture and Master of Tropical Landscape Architecture (MTLA) graduate, Mr. Errol V. Santiago, graced the LSGH Masterclass two-part series titled “Understanding and Designing Outdoor Spaces.”

Held at the Maria Pilapil Hall, Mr. Santiago talked about essential principles in creating outdoor spaces. Beyond aesthetics, Mr. Santiago noted how functionality, user experience, and spatial efficiency are prime considerations when designing outdoor spaces. The case-based discussions deepened our students’ understanding of the importance of environmental context, user behavior and function in achieving functional and meaningful spaces.
