Our Alternative Education STEM students recently attended the LSGH Masterclass Series dubbed “Protecting Our Borders and Saving Lives,” featuring distinguished guest speaker Dr. Guilberto R. Feliciano.

 

 

Dr. Bert is a proud LSGH Batch 1990 alumnus who serves as a Director of the LSGH Alumni Association and an official with the Department of Health – Bureau of Quarantine.

 

 

During the session, he shared his valuable insights and discussed how science, technology, and health protocols work seamlessly together to safeguard our nation’s borders and protect public health.

 

Held last November 20, it gave our AltEd STEM students a fantastic opportunity to learn, engage, and be inspired by the principle that “Science in action is service to humanity.”
