La Salle Green Hills opened its doors to Kosei Gakuen Junior High School of Tokyo, Japan, for a Cultural Interaction Activity on July 24, 2026.

The Kosei Gakuen JHS students’ visit to the Philippines is part of their Global Leader Project, a program for selected students that immerses them in multicultural experiences while providing opportunities to enhance their English language skills through meaningful engagement as future global leaders.

The cultural interaction centered on Palarong Pinoy and Pistang Pinoy. The students experienced traditional Filipino games such as Patintero, Tumbang Preso, and Jackstones. Each activity fostered genuine interaction and friendship between the students of our two countries.

Everyone became so engaged that nationalities seemed to disappear. Watching the students laugh, cooperate, and enjoy themselves together was truly heartwarming. The activity highlighted the value of cultural exchange, demonstrating how shared experiences can build lasting connections and mutual understanding among young people from different backgrounds.

As the day came to a close, the students parted with smiles, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. Through laughter, games, and shared experiences, they discovered that understanding one another transcends language and borders. Maraming salamat and arigatou gozaimasu for a truly meaningful cultural exchange. Until we meet again, mata ne!
