La Salle Green Hills is proud of its Batch 2023 alumnus, Deniel Basilio, for having been selected as one of the six finalists in the Philippine Stagers Foundation’s 15th Summer Theater Festival. Deniel is the only competing playwright from high school, among five other co-finalists who are university and community-based theater organizations. A professional theater company founded in 2002, the Philippine Stagers Foundation has been known for its commitment to developing Filipino talent and producing all-original Filipino plays. In the run up to the announcement of winners on August 6, Deniel’s one-act play, ‘If the World Ends Today,’ was featured at the PSF Blackbox Theater last July 15, brought to life with the help of The Cue Drama Club actors and their production crew.
