With a 4-medal haul, Calvin Uno T. Salavante and Mark Anvil B. Venterez marked their participation in the Winter (February 8) and Spring (June 20) rounds of the 7th Mathematics Without Borders event.
Held each year, it is open to participants aged 7 to 18 years old from different countries, a good avenue to further develop and improve skills, gauge level of competencies and fuel interest.

Aside from their foray into international events, Mark and Calvin have also taken part in Asian Math Sci League, Inc. or AMSLI’s enrichment program in Science (ASEP Batches 1 and 2), reaping honors and distinction award. Calvin has likewise completed AMSLI’s advanced math enrichment program (AMEP), finishing with honors in his grade level.
