Dodo utters such statements in an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer when asked about LSGH’s Project Safe Shelter, an undertaking in support of De La Salle Philippines’s Kada Uno initiative which unified the efforts of a network of 16 Lasallian educational communities and partner institutions to fight the pandemic. From April to June, the school has converted some of its classrooms into sleeping quarters, providing health workers from The Medical City and Cardinal Santos Memorial Center a safe sanctuary, food, wi-fi access and other essentials, made possible through the generosity and concern of countless donors who heeded the call to help the most vulnerable in the time of the pandemic.
