It’s Two in a Row! LSGH SBP Team A – 2016 Milo League National Champion
The LSGH Small Basketeers Philippines (SBP) Team A emerged as the back-to-back national champions for the Milo League after winning against a formidable team from the University of the Visayas last December 4, 2016 at the University of St La Salle (USLS) Gym in Bacolod City.
Nursery and Kindergarten Pupils Showcase Talents in Two Separate Events
November and December 2016 have been very busy months for our Nursery and Kindergarten pupils. They have untiringly practiced for their Festival of Talents and Kinder Musicale respectively to be able to exhibit outstanding performances for their parents and teachers.
“Pamaskong Pambalot” Christmas Wrapper Fund Drive
The “Pamaskong Pambalot” Christmas Fund Drive is one of the major projects of the Grade School Student Council. It aims to raise funds for worthwhile outreach projects that benefit the different sectors of the Lasallian community. Selected artists composed of students and teachers from the Nursery to Grade 6 levels were tapped to design the Christmas wrapper and gift tag to showcase the many local talents at LSGH. In line with the institutional theme on “Helping: The Animo Way of Building a Happy Community”, the Christmas Drive wishes to inspire the members of the community to pay back in this season of thanks and giving.
Coastal Clean-Up 2016
Several students, parents and teachers of La Salle Green Hills trooped to Las Piñas – Parañaque Critical Habitat Ecotourism Area (LPPCHEA) last November 26, 2016 to participate in a Coastal Clean-up activity.
Various student organizations from the grade school and high school departments were represented by their Moderators and members. The volunteers also included faculty members and parent representatives.
Music Fest 2016
The Grade School Visual and Performing Arts Department held its annual Music Fest activity on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Br. Donato Performing Arts Center.
The event highlights the singing abilities of pupils from Kindergarten to Grade 6. However, this year, an instrument category was added.
LSGH High School Taekwondo Team Wins Bronze in 2016 PTL
Our high school team which represented LSGH in this year’s NCAA Taekwondo won the BRONZE medal in the 2016 Philippine Taekwondo League (PTL) held at SM City Sucat, Parañaque City last November 27, 2016.
THE KUNDIRANA MUSIC MINISTRY
The Kundirana is a music ministry. It has dedicated itself to the spreading of joy and hope. LSGH High School Achieves Five-Year Re-Accreditation Status
The High School Department of La Salle Green Hills has once again added another feather in its cap by obtaining a Certificate of Re-Accreditation last May 2016. The re-accreditation was given by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), an accrediting agency composed of different private institutions that stamp private schools that meet commonly accepted standards of quality education.
The Br. Andelino Manuel FSC Orchestra Roadshow: Making Magic through Music
La Salle Green Hills’ musical pride, the Br Andelino Manuel FSC Orchestra, is generating smiles and winning friends while making music together. As part of the annual Lasallian Mission Week Celebration, the orchestra displayed their musical talent by touring different La Salle schools in Luzon. With the musical skills they showed on-stage, they made music that was delightfully magical. The instrumental ensemble consists of string (violin, viola, cello and double bass), brass, woodwind, and percussion.

Lasallian Mission Week 2016 Celebrations at LSGH
WELCOME BR. FONZY!
Among the highlights of the Lasallian Mission Week 2016 Celebration was the introduction of Br. Fonzy to the community during the launching ceremony. The inspiration for Br. Fonzy as mascot of LSGH comes from the very first Director and Principal of the institution, Br. Alphonsus Bloemen FSC who was also one of the first six teachers who taught in LSGH.
