Master Uriel Nathaniel D. Orpilla Made It Again


For the second time, Master Uriel Nathaniel Orpilla, Grade 6A, made it again to the top in the field of mathematics. This time, he won a BRONZE medal award.

Last August 1, 2015, he competed in the 11TH INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICS CONTEST 2015 in Singapore. The contest, participated in by 1,300 Primary pupils from 13 Asian countries, was held at Gems World Academy, Singapore. The result of the contest, which was in written form, was announced the following day, August 11, 2015.

A silent and humble but consistent honor pupil since Kindergarten, Uriel also won 2 Gold Awards in 2 separate international math competitions held in Hong Kong two years ago. For this feat, Uriel was recognized by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) as an outstanding student of Science and Mathematics in 2013.
