LSGH SBP Team A with the organizers of the Milo Best SBP Tournament during the awarding ceremonies

Once again, another Lasallian from the LSGH Grade School made it to the international scene by winning different awards in a skating event. Master Joaquin Phoenix O. Cleofe of 6E joined the Skate Asia competition held in Qingdao, China last August 10-16, 2015.

He bagged the Gold medal in the Solo Spotlight event, 2 Silver medals in the Technical and Stroking events, and placed 4th and 5th in the Surprised and Solo Com events.

His victory proved that Lasallian athletes always give their best, in local and international competitions alike. His tenacity in learning the fundamentals of skating, combined with his focus and good skating stance, helped him over competitors from different countries. For Master Joaquin, the experience was priceless. The fun memories and the thrills of competing with and meeting other athletes from different countries will always remain in his heart and mind. Truly, he is a Lasallian worthy of emulation. Animo La Salle!
