LSGH High School Achieves Five-Year Re-Accreditation Status
The High School Department of La Salle Green Hills has once again added another feather in its cap by obtaining a Certificate of Re-Accreditation last May 2016. The re-accreditation was given by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), an accrediting agency composed of different private institutions that stamp private schools that meet commonly accepted standards of quality education.
The following are the general areas surveyed together with their respective Self- Survey Committee Chairs:
Philosophy and Objectives : Mr. Liomar Hernandez
Faculty : Mr. Jesus Remiter Jr.
Curriculum and Instruction : Mrs. Maria Donna Ines
Library : Mrs. Cheryl Villanueva
Laboratories : Mrs. Nimfa Aleta dela Cruz
Physical Plant : Mrs. Ma. Cecilia Bugayong
Student Services : Miss Maria Theresa Bongiad
Administration : Mrs. Elizabeth Jimenez
School and Community : Br. Emmanuel Hilado FSC
The Executive Committee was headed by Br. Richie Yap FSC and Mrs. Amy Galang, principal and former principal of the department, respectively.
The re-survey visit last February 18 – 19 earned the school another five-year re-accredited status – a tangible manifestation and affirmation of the department’s strong commitment to the mission of providing excellent Lasallian education to the young.
The high school department has been a consistent recipient of the PAASCU certification since its first accreditation year of 1973.
