LSGH Grade School Pupils Win in Kilusang Kayumanggi Essay Writing Contest
Our very own MASTER IŇIGO RAPHAEL S. DE LEON and MASTER JOSE LUIS C. VICTORIA, both from
Section 6A, bested 300 other participants from different private and public schools in an essay writing contest sponsored by The Brown Movement for Cultural Advancement, also known as Kilusang Kayumanggi.

The theme of the essay writing contest was “Kultura Ko, Yaman Ko”. It was held last December 5, 2015 at the National Commission for Culture and the Arts in Intramuros, Manila.
Both awardees received their certificates, books, and a free writing workshop during the awarding rites held last February 6, 2016 at the National Historical Commission of the Philippines in T.M. Kalaw Manila. Five other LSGH pupils from Grades 5 and 6 also competed in the contest, namely: Masters Ramirez Javier W. Loste (5A), Uriel
Nathan D. Orpilla (6A), Jomike Montrose S. Bueno (6B), Juliane Clyde O. Ortiz (6E) and Adriane Zen Y. Tiangco (6F).
