John Troy Mallillin MVP
Two Most Valuable Player (MVP) awardees of the NCAA league are from La Salle Green Hills (LSGH).
JOHN TROY MALLILLIN (12-E) recently clinched the title of MVP during the 92nd Season of the NCAA as a player for the College of St Benilde-LSGH Junior Basketball Team.
Mallillin is the second MVP from LSGH who achieved this honor. The first one was PRINCE RIVERO who won the same prestigious award during the 89th NCAA season where he also played for CSB-LSGH Junior Basketball Team. Prince Rivero now plays for DLSU Senior Basketball Team in the UAAP league.
Statistical record showed that John Troy Mallillin accumulated 48.11 statistical points, ahead of San Beda player Sam Abu Hijleh’s 46.56 statistical points.
This double-MVP award is a record breaker in the school history of LSGH and for the CSB-LSGH team.
Congratulations to John Troy Mallillin! Animo La Salle!
