Third Grader Bagged International Ranking in Science Olympiad

Master AARON JEFFREY CABACUNGA ANTONIO from Grade 3A of SY 2018-2019 was awarded gold and ranked 28th globally in the Vanda International Science Competition 2019. Some 1,200 Grade 3 pupils from around the world participated in the competition. The Asian Math Science League, Inc. (AMSLI) center in Laguna City facilitated the test last April 27, 2019 for the Philippine delegation. 

Catering to students from grades 3 to 10, Vanda is an international Science Competition held annually around the globe that focuses on the student’s ability to think critically and creatively to pick out hidden information to aid them in solving the question. The contest follows closely with Singapore School Science syllabus and tests students based on the level of content that they have learned.

Master AARON JEFFREY CABACUNGA ANTONIO is set to join future competitions namely: Vanda Science Global Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 26, 2019; Asian Science and Mathematics Olympiad in Indonesia in November; and Joaquin International Science Competition in Vietnam.
