A final staging – Grade 6 Activity Day

The staging of the Grade 6 Activity Day last August 22, 2019 marked an ‘end point’ for an activity that has been integral to batch 2020’s grade school journey.

Held annually, the Activity Day is an event that showcases pupils’ learnings in the classroom through various tilts – Talumpatian, Dramatic Reading, Pagbabaybay, Extemporaneous Speaking, Spelling and the Interclass Contest (academic quiz). Aside from the chance to represent one’s section, the various contests allow the participants to demonstrate grace in defeat and humility in triumph, an invaluable learning experience as they transition to high school.

Sharing in the grade six pupils’ experience were parents, relatives and friends present at the Br. Donato Center last August 22, whose support have made this year’s Activity Day and batch 2020’s grade school journey, as a whole, truly memorable.

Overall, Grades 6B and 6D finished 1st place (Interclass Contest) while section E was adjudged the Most Behaved Class. In the individual competitions, Master Gauge Vanderlei T. Elviña of 6-E received two gold medals – one for Talumpatian and another for Dramatic Reading. Meanwhile, Masters Salvo Laurence F. Adrillana (6-B) and Jan Jacob C. Ribuyaco (6-B) each bagged the top prize in Pagbabaybay and in Extemporaneous Speaking, respectively. The top spot for Spelling was shared by Masters Enrico Joakeen O. Guevara (6-F) and Francis Martin C. Puache (6-G).
