00

MS OBDULIA L JOSE, one of the pioneering teachers of La Salle Green Hills, passed away last November 6, 2016. She first joined LSGH in 1961 as a Grade 2 teacher, was appointed Department Head of Reading for Grades 1-4 in 1966 up to 1967, and was then assigned to the Developmental Reading classes where she worked with students who had deficiencies in the area of Reading. She retired from her teaching profession at LSGH in 1989.

Ms Jose was born on October 5, 1928 and an education graduate of St Paul’s College, Manila. Her first teaching jobs were with Singalong Parochial School and St Theresa’s College before she joined LSGH in 1961.

We pay our respects to a good and dedicated teacher who helped many young Lasallians especially in Reading. We thank you for your contribution to the growth of our school, and in making a difference in the lives of many of your pupils. May you rest in peace forever, Ms Jose.
